Stillpoint began with Helen and John Woolcock in the 80s, as a place for silence, retreat, contemplation and spiritual direction and as a learning centre which focused on the contemplative journey. Subsequently in 2011, the Stillpoint course – The Art of Spiritual Direction – began formation for spiritual directors.
When the Stillpoint Centre closed in 2013 the formation course moved location, taking with it the gift of many books on prayer and spiritual direction.
Stillpoint is now located at Broadwater Road Uniting Church,
481 Broadwater Road, Wishart, Brisbane.
